My art comes from my imagination; an inspiration of happiness, of color, of the unknown…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My name is SKY. I named myself after the sky.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019ve always been fascinated with the theme of Aliens, UFOs, Outer Space… My first sighting of a spaceship was when I was 2 years old, my first memory. Woken abruptly in the middle of the night, I watched out the window, with wonderment and awe, from my crib in my apartment bedroom in Queens, NY, at what I interpreted at the time to be a brightly lit fire engine zooming through the sky…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Second memory: At age 5, sitting atop the stoop of my new home in Ronkonkoma, Long Island, NY, I stared deeply into the air and separated particles with my mind, opening to a world of colors and mystique…my first delve into the understanding of the fourth dimension and quantum physics.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

my second film: \u201cStar Wars\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dreams led to drawings, high school led to exploration, feelings, questions, psychic awareness, a broadening of my horizons, a curiousity about science, the stars, the cosmos, astronomy, the planets, crystals, astral projection, outer space…<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art became a means of expression, sketches revealed messages, books emerged poetry, paint became power, passion, fury, freedom, ENLIGHTENMENT… At the turn of the millenium, on the verge of the year 2000, my art started to explode on canvas and wood, and all of the imagery that had been haunting me for years began it\u2019s release.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ART as a means of HEALING. ART as a tool for IMAGINATION. ART to brighten your room with JOY. ART that reminds us, WE ARE NOT ALONE. ART is CONNECTION. ART IS ESSENTIAL. ART IS ENLIGHTENMENT.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have been painting professionally for over 20 years now, and have a gigantic body of mixed-media work that is constantly evolving. For 17 years the gallery that was my home was known as \u201cThe Harvard Hive Alien Art Museum, Animal Queendom, and Crystal Earth Creation Station, Gallery\/Studio\/Workspace\/Performance Place\u201d, (the name says it all), based in the heart of Melrose Hill in East Los Angeles. When I moved to a new space in the beginning of 2019, the works came down and a new phase began.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the world is a studio: Flash forward to my current Los Angeles, East Hollywood pad… my studio and creation-space, wall to wall once again filled with vibrant, passionate, colorful, wood and canvas, bursting with energy and ready to be SOLD.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In August of 2020, during the craziness of being quarantined, COSMIC ALIEN ART was founded. An online space where you have permission to DROP BY, TUNE IN, and SPACE OUT.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
